Marvin Goes to Orlando
During the 7th Annual Cruisin' The
Coast® event
a 1939 Chevy Coupe was raffled with the proceeds benefitting
the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi. One boy who benefitted
from the generosity of the participants was 8-year-old Marvin.
Marvin is from Pass Christian and suffers from Hunter's Syndrome,
a hereditary disease that is passed on to male children. Marvin's
greatest wish was to go to Orlando with his family.
He and his family all packed their bags and took off for an
adventure filled week in Orlando. They were swept away to New
Orleans to catch their flight that would lead them to seven
fun-filled days. There is not much that Marvin and his family
didn't do when they were there. They had to start off in Disney's
Magic Kingdom, of course. But his fun just couldn't stop there.
With all that Orlando has to offer, Marvin - just had to see
and do it all.
So off they went to Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM, Universal
Studios, and Sea World. Sometimes a picture can say it all.
By the smile on Marvin's face it was a week he truly enjoyed
and a chance for everyone to forget about being sick. These
memories will last a lifetime.
